Elsewhere in Harrogate District Hospital, subject to availability you are able to pay £90 per night for a private room on other wards.

Can I drink alcohol?

While this is broadly discouraged during your stay with us to aid your recovery, if medically appropriate then you can drink alcoholic beverages. Please speak with your nurse and consultant first to ensure it is appropriate.

Yes – each room is equipped with a television. We also provide complimentary Wi-Fi so you’ll be able to stream your favourite programmes on your own laptop/device.

How can my friends and family find out about my progress?

You are allowed visitors, of course, so friends and family are able to see you between 11am-7pm every day. They can also ring the ward, where nursing staff will, with your explicit permission, be able to provide updates. We do request that one family member is nominated to make contact with staff on the ward, to avoid the same update being provided several times.
